As part of the modernisation of Melbourne's tram network, Yarra Trams will be upgrading the tram tracks and overhead power network along Spencer Street from Little Lonsdale to Flinders Street and on Spencer Street Bridge. 

The track renewal works will take place throughout the Easter and ANZAC Day long weekend, commencing on Thursday 21 April at approx 8pm and continuing 24 hours a day until before the first tram on Wednesday 27 April.
